La Rentrée

Bonjour

How are you all? We're back from our holidays this week. When things are busy, it's easy to forget how necessary holidays are until you actually get away... Time out to relax and unwind, recharge your batteries, read all the books you've been meaning to read for ages, eat all the local specialities of wherever you are in the world - be it home or abroad, feel some warmth on your skin (with any luck!) remember how nice your family is to be around when there are no pressures of work and school - basically time to chill out and laugh - and to plan the next get-away as soon as possible!

But we have to admit that it's also nice to come home. And in our case, it's even nicer because we love what we do and having not seen each other for about four weeks (four weeks is a very long time for us not to see each other!!!) - there's loads to catch up on, stories to share and plans to be made. So actually La Rentrée, as the French call this annual back to work and school time of year, is actually rather fun for us.

We have loads planned for Mon Amie over the next few months - so keep watching this space for what we're up to.
